MAX ALLAN COLLINS

Max Allan Collins of Muscatine, Iowa, is a mystery writer with a unique approach to writing his murder mysteries. He selects well known writers as the super sleuths in his mysteries, and has received excellent reviews for his ingenuity and elaborate murder plots. His choice of Burroughs as the super sleuth for the Pearl Harbor Murders was inspired, since Burroughs and his son Hulbert were living in Hawaii in December, 1941 and personally witnessed the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Collins will deliver a short keynote address at the Dum-Dum on the Pearl Harbor Murders and how he wrote the book (now available on tape by Americana Audio).
